MUSEO BARDINI
The Museum was given to the Town of Florence from Stefano Bardini (1836-1922), fine expert of art and capable international merchant. It has seat in the prestigious constituent arcades the imposing neo palace- renaissance. Altars, climbs, portals, columns and ceilings from churches and palaces are preserved. It contains works that go from the Roman period to the eighteenth century, amongst the what masterpieces of painting and sculpture like the la Carità di Tino di Camaino, la Madonna dei Cordai di Donatello, il San Michele Arcangelo di Antonio del Pollaiolo, and numerous valuable smaller works: ceramics, medals, bronzes and eastern carpets. To the last plan of the palace, the Galleria Corsi is constituted from about 700 paintings from the XIV to the XIX century.
